About Cathy Kathman

Real estate has been a lifelong dream for Cathy Kathman. At just eight years old, she remembers watching a national news program with her father featuring the construction and sale of New York City skyscrapers. She was captivated — and from that moment on, she knew real estate would one day be part of her story. 

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Cathy built a strong professional foundation in roles that demanded organization, precision, and exceptional service. She worked as an Escrow Officer for a title company, served as a Manager for Macy’s, and held multiple positions within Mesquite ISD, including Intervention Specialist, as well as roles in payroll, finance, and staffing. These experiences sharpened her attention to detail, strengthened her financial understanding, and developed her ability to guide people with clarity and care.

Now in her first year in real estate, Cathy brings fresh energy, industry knowledge, and a deep commitment to serving her clients well. She prides herself on relatability and empathy, treating her clients like family and ensuring they feel confident and supported throughout one of the most important decisions of their lives. Cathy believes helping someone buy or sell a home is not just a transaction — it is a privilege.

Born in Dallas, Cathy knows the area inside and out, and she understands the diverse needs of buyers and sellers across the region. Having also lived in other states, she brings a broad perspective that allows her to connect easily with clients from many backgrounds.

Outside of real estate, Cathy treasures time with her grandchildren and enjoys trips to the beach. She also has a passion for remodeling and interior design, giving her a creative eye when helping clients envision the full potential of a home.
